ChefoonRest was imagined as a single evening rather than two separate rooms. The kitchen sends plates in measured waves. The salon keeps roulette, blackjack, poker and baccarat at a human pace. Guests move between courses and felt without spectacle.
Every detail is held to the same standard: linen, lighting, dealing and seasoning. The 2026 season favours British produce, quiet service and games that reward attention rather than noise.

Then the salon
After the main course, or between smaller plates, hosts open the table-games floor. Chips, cards and the wheel share the same low light as the dining room.
Close with care
Sweets return from the kitchen as the last hands are played. The house prefers a finished evening over an endless one.

Charred sea bass
Citrus gel, fennel pollen and sea herbs. A bright opening plate for the first hour of the evening.
Heritage roast
Glazed roots, thyme and a slow jus. The centre of the meal, built for a longer sitting at the table.
Chocolate sphere
Raspberry, pistachio crumb and a touch of gold leaf. Served as the salon settles into later games.
Casino Experience
A salon for classic tables
The ChefoonRest casino floor is a quiet room of green felt, brass lamps and measured dealing. There are no banks of machines. Guests sit at roulette, blackjack, poker and baccarat, hosted by a small team who keep the pace even and the rules clear.
Play is offered as part of the evening, not as a separate spectacle. Limits are posted at each table. Hosts will pause a game if a guest needs a longer rest between hands and courses.
Roulette
A single wheel, a clear layout and a slow spin. European-style play with a host at the rail.
Blackjack
Short shoes, visible procedure and a table sized for conversation as much as for cards.
Poker
Hosted cash-style and tournament sittings. The room favours reading the table over rushing the betting.

Arrive for evening service
ChefoonRest does not take written enquiries through this site. Hosts greet guests at the inner doors once the kitchen opens. Private tastings and reserved games tables are arranged in person at the floor desk during service.
Kitchen hours
Thursday to Sunday from 18:00. Last plates leave the pass before late salon hours.
Games salon
Open on the same evenings as the kitchen. Tables close when the last hosted sitting is complete.
How the door works
Guests should be 18 or over. Proof of age may be requested before seating in the dining room or at a games table. Dress is evening-smart. The house prefers unhurried arrivals so that courses and tables can be paced together.
